Scott Frost graduated from Brandeis University in 2009 with a double major in Politics and International Global Studies and a minor in Legal Studies. He conducted research via la Universsidad de Buenos Aires and de Universiteit van Amsterdam that focused on the institutionalization and transnationalization of LGBT social movements and the impact of global philanthropy upon emerging LGBT social movements. At Brandeis, he sought to strengthen the school’s tradition of social justice as the General Coordinator for the queer group on campus (Triskelion), counselor in the Queer Resource Center, and co-chair of the Club Support Committee of the Student Union. Prior to joining the Task Force, he was involved in various capacities with a number of its colleague organizations, including as a conference organizer for the International Gay and Lesbian Youth Organization (Brussels-based IGLYO) in Amsterdam, the Board Relations Intern at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in Washington DC, the LGBT Rights Program Intern at Amnesty International in New York City and the Special Events Intern at Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) in Boston.
